The Eames inspired RAR chair is a reproduction of the original RAR rocker's design. Like many of Eames' other plastic chairs, this one features a bucket seat of high quality fibreglass, shaped such that it cradles the body comfortably.
The RAR rocker chair is one of Charles' Eames nicest seat designs. Charles, together with his wife Ray, produced some of the finest furniture designs to date. They all remain popular to this day, and with good reason. Even with its simple design, the rocker chair is still both visually appealing and comfortable to sit in.
The chair features a somewhat high back, as well as armrests. The seat which comes in various colours rests on lovely stainless steel legs, affixed to smooth wooden rockers. The chair is easily one of the more stylish of the Eames plastic designs and fits perfectly in any setting. It has an artistic quality that adds to the atmosphere of any room it graces.
