Volther inspired Chair and ottoman

An instant classic, the Volther inspired chair is one of the most recognisable furniture designs to come out of the 1960's. The distinctive shape led to its common name as the Corona chair, due to the way the seat cushions arched up the back.

The chair is upholstered in either black or white leather for comfort and style, and would be at home in any contemporary office setting. The back consists of three separate sections, getting consecutively smaller as they stem upward from the base.

This is the perfect chair for creating a modernist atmosphere without looking over-the-top. The Volther inspired chair is laid back and very feng shui.

A high tensile stainless steel frame and base provides support while remaining unobtrusive and minimalist. The base of the frame comes straight down from the centre of the chair and splits into four symmetrical cross pieces that rest on the floor. The height is adjustable.

The elliptical cushions can be upholstered in leather or fabric in a wide range of colours.
