Eames Rocker - Padded

The Eames Rocker padded chair is one of the Eames pair's nicest designs. It is not overly flashy; like many pieces in the Eames line, this chair sports a rather minimalistic aesthetic. Its overall form is simple, but its shape is a bit unusual when compared to other rocking chairs.

The seat is made of moulded plastic, made so as to fit the contours of the body for maximum comfort when sitting. In addition, it sports a soft cushioned layer to make reclining in it a more relaxing experience.

The chair is supported by a frame of slender beams, which features a very elegant Eiffel silhouette.

Charles and Ray Eames were a couple of designers renowned for the great contributions they made to modern architecture and as furniture.
