Saarinen inspired Executive Dining Arm Chair

The Saarinen Executive Chair is one of the many gorgeous pieces created by the famed Finnish American architect and industrial designer Eero Saarinen. With this chair, Eero sought to prove that formality and professionalism were not mutually exclusive with beauty and taste.

This chair is perfect for any formal setting, be it an office or meeting room, and yet it still manages to look great and is even appropriate for use at home. The Saarinen Executive Chair comes in two main varieties; the normal chair features the standard for legs to support its frame, while the Conference chair has an “X”-shaped base with wheels to make it more convenient for office use. The legged Executive Chair comes with either wooden or tubular steel legs.

Like many of Saarinen's other chair designs, the Saarinen Executive Chair features a minimalistic aesthetic. It is beautiful, but it is not loud or gaudy in any way.

The chair has a very subdued shape, with a somewhat high, curved back that arches up from the base of the seat, leaving a vaguely ovular space in the back. The seat is comfortable to sit in with its soft padding, and comes in a variety of different colours depending on your personal taste.
