Conceptualised and designed by Eero Aarnio, one of the foremost furniture designers in modern culture, the Eero Aarnio Scoop Side Table (small) represents a minimalist approach to interior décor that would feel just as comfortable in an office setting as in a home environment.

Born in 1932, Eero Aarnio began designing for a mainstream audience in the early 60's and in that decade he realised some of the most famous and popular works the world had ever seen. Even today his pieces inspire furniture designers to experiment with known conventions and materials. The Eero Aarnio Scoop Side Table (small) makes use of moulded fibreglass as its primary constituent, taking full advantage of the inherent possibilities of such a versatile material.

The fibreglass base of the Scoop Side Table stems upward from a relatively wide base into a slender stalk that resembles the organic shape of a mushroom. The tabletop is a flat circle of tempered glass that's durable and elegant at the same time.
